Pirate Day in The Bay is a weekend of Pirating that takes over much of Old Town BSL every year.  This fundraising event is for charities of Hancock County and it gets better and larger every year.  Live music on Friday and Saturday nights, the infamous Pub Crawl to multiple old town Bars & restaurants on Friday, various entertainment on Saturday, a raffle for a premium prize on Saturday evening, children & adult costume contest Saturday
late morning, the Lil' Buccaneer's children's parade on Saturday morning and an amazing parade on Saturday with a pirate ship, decorated golf carts, dancing and marching groups, and a few new surprises every year.  The parade begins at the Harbor in front of Pirate Central and winds through the streets of Old Town BSL, circling back to Pirate Central.  Pirate Central is located at the corner of Beach Blvd. & Court St. and is where you will find pirate merchandise for sale and a bar to wet yer' whistle.  The weekend draws family friendly crowds locally and from far and wide, Join the fun in your own pirate garb or come simply to spectate the unbelievably creative Pirate costumes!  Registration for golf carts and dancing/marching groups will be online in 2026.
